Jesse D. Matthews, Psy. D.
Dr. Matthews has worked as a school counselor and a therapist in a range of mental health and substance abuse treatment settings.
His areas of interest/specialty include: individual therapy with children, adolescents, and adults; anxiety; depression; learning disabilities; AD/HD; Asperger's and Pervasive Developmental Disorders; social skills; relationship issues; communication skills/assertiveness; anger management; parent consultation; parenting/ fatherhood; work/life balance; transition and adjustment issues; college and career stress; substance abuse; and brief diagnostic assessment.
Dr. Matthews works collaboratively with clients and families to help them navigate difficult life situations, recognize their strengths, develop new skills, and reach their highest potential.
